In her debut book, Dale Ganas, San Antonio entrepreneur and multicultural marketing pioneer Bonnie Garcia shares fun, inspirational stories of her journey from a curious little girl who tried to grow chickens by planting feathers, to working in the halls of Corporate America, to leading her own multi-million-dollar firm that helps companies discover the potential of the multicultural market.
Garcia’s compilation of uplifting short stories and consejos (words of advice) is designed to engage and motivate women, especially young girls with the ganas (desire) to make their mark in life.
Garcia’s stories were inspired by her parents, her Latina heritage and her own journey from humble beginnings on the Southside of San Antonio to her time in Corporate America and to her 21 years as an entrepreneur and founder of MarketVision, a marketing firm.
She hopes her words will help others find their voice, their passions and the confidence they need to write their own stories.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
Dale Ganas is exactly what I needed during this period of self isolation, it warmed my heart with the consejos and inspirational advice that can speak to all young women and especially those who share our Latina culture.
HOPE ANDRADE-SAN ANTONIO BUSINESSWOMEN- FORMER SECRETARY OF THE STATE OF TEXAS
The author’s voice spoke honestly and encouragingly to women who are ready to make an impact Her stories inspired me to get excited about life everyday instead of waiting to enjoy life when I accomplish my dreams.
I loved how she uses the Mexican culture and the analogues, the colorful pictures, inspirational and charming!
“I especially love flipping through the pages of Dale Ganas in the mornings before my day begins! It serves as the best reminder to “hit it hard” all day, every day!”
GINA VELA-UTSA 2020 GRAD

“Dale Ganas has inspired me so much to work even harder to reach my goals in life, school, & career!! I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone!”
A beautiful book to share with family and friends…definitely a must read for our next girls night out gathering.
The personal story to success and struggles to be accepted for one’s experience and not gender also resonated with me as a Latina in business.

GRACIELA URRUCHUA – NAWBO-SA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dale Ganas is truly inspiring and thought provoking. The author’s personal stories touched my heart and helped me renew my inner fire. Great for daily encouragement!
While the book reflects Garcia’s own Mexican American heritage and culture, it is not intended solely for Latinas. Its target is women… in particular, from middle or high school girls who might need a little motivation to pursue their dreams to young professionals just starting their careers, and the moms, abuelitas (grandmothers), tias (aunts), teachers and counselors who guide them along the way.
